Make room for the Whoopi Goldberg of this hip-hop game, back from his (pretty poor) Perceptionists project, and a dozen other (rather notable) Def Jux solo releases. As mentioned, Mo' Mega might be Lif's most "personal" album yet... No, he hasn't actually taken up guitar to sing the blues, but you'll see him just a little less political than before, while he's taking rhymes over his own life/career (Collapse), gettin' funky with Murs (Murs Iz My Manager) or even doing a bit of a dancehall number on Washitup!, etc. Following Cage's success from last year, El-P takes most credit for production (only two beats by Edan and Lif himself, respectively), so bring the noize with mutant boom-baps... and some loud riffs please! Just over 40 min. long and worth staying till the very end, if only for the touchy last song (aww). Lif is for the children!

btw there is a dedicated def jux blog ;) where you can (could?) obtain their own documentary film & virtually all videos and of course just about every release. (i must pop along, been some time) It wasn't hard to find using google.

to d'ld use right click and save or add to Sp33d downl0ad/iGett3r etc otherwise (for me) rarther than the .rar being d'lded the code is loaded in a web page OF the rar compression* (a page amass of letters, numbers etc, u know code)
This happens in Safari & Firefox (Apps & OS up to date as of 18th June '07. OS X 10.4.9)
*This happened on 1 other share service a blogsite used for a short period about 6 months or so, I forget who and I've not come across them since.
