04. Names of Places
05. Circle Attractor, Part I
06. Circle Attractor, Part II

Area C isn't your cold, cerebral electronic outfit, though the artwork might mislead at first. Jeff & Erik are from Providence and Haunt follows on from where they last stopped with Traffic+Discoveries. And where is that? Think of the Nordic sensibility perhaps; think mellow, warm, organic, melodic... Maybe a cliché already. Think calming instrumental music with a totally intelligent and natural progression, simple passages carving - slowly but surely - a place for themselves. All tracks are mainly based around farfisa organs, along with subtle guitar elements, which again ARE just enough to do the trick. Really beautiful an album that needs no additional describing, or I'll run out of adjectives pretty soon. Own it, feel it, love it. Right now.

The title 'Haunt' (inspired by a book of the same name by poet Keith Waldrop) refers to frequented places or states of mind, places we return to again and again, sometimes obsessively, sometimes in a somnambulistic trance. These are not ghost stories, but we can't deny the unexlained "other's" spectral presence. Remnants of other times and places, outdated technologies, signals sent out but never received...
