While the Bully man's on break from pushing sevens, the Maker makes his own, starting over again, with a little help from friends and usual suspects. These Maker Files seem to have slipped past everyone's attention, but you can tell they're just as badass as the Bully series, staying true to their canonic format. It's that 'homegrown' bunch: rocking dope loops with some dope drums; taking dust off the records, laying on the beats, laying down vocals for a touch of soul, and a steady feelgood vibe. From millions of 'downtempo' acts, they've acted as preservers of a pure aesthetic, and became something of a seal of quality. Otherwise simply known as Vinyl Monkeys.
