The solo debut of Ruaridh Law (Marcia Blaine School for Girls/Accrual) comes with a Latin title that suggests, instead of the term "organic", a more natural (or even "vegetal"?) take on electronica. "Arcadia" could be that great mythical/imaginary place to hang out, relax, and, err, appreciate nature... backed by an imaginary Village Orchestra. This is more than relaxing music; it just demands that one listen. Sound masses - layers and layers of sound, but with a kind of botanist/impressionist design, which instead of simply taking up space (like say most urban architecture), keeps moving and growing and growing: trunk-to-branch-to-leafs...
Man. I've just re-read that last sentence. God help me if I've turned into a stodgy old fart. Been a while since last climbing a tree...
Check some bumpin' mixes here before you...
>> get it (99mb)

t's better this way.
maybe it's time for you to climb a tree again.
alif is good enough?
Wikip has an "extensive" explanation.
I first came across it in Brideshead revisited. It's apparently meant to mean that "I {death} am in Paradise, too", from a 17C painting.
cheers
