Some good shit going on right here: dusty folk-laden spazzed out sitar-driven Middle-Eastern rough-ridin' tough BEATS all over the map. You thought brother Otis had the far-flung digging covered with Beat Konducta in India, but Oxperiment is just top-drawer "banging". All instrumental, but many could so easily imagine MF Doom or Madlib delivering the lyrical madness over every single track. Let's hope Oh No does well with this one - he's rather overlooked and deserves lots more credit than he's got. That aside, seriously - check it out. One of Stones Throw's highlights for '07.

did listen to that album but lost interest halfway through. some tracks seemed better than others; frankly though not quite my cuppa. sounds like a bit pretentious band that, you know, tries too hard. but don't ask me - i'm verry fussy and have general issues w/ pretty much all recent electronic music.
