A joyous voyage into a kaleidoscopic and cathartic sound-world", to quote from the inner sleeve. What more really needs told? It's the kind of music to inject into your bloodstream and fill up whatever emptiness. It's its own genre, if you ask me - noone else comes close to sounding like Valerio these days. After all, it's up to improvisers to make new rules, which eventually they'll break themselves a bit later on. But what's more important is the evanescent, visceral, and quite surprisingly enjoyable communication with a (primarily) free jazz performer. I know and you do: sax and improv are sometimes just too much for many, like listening to someone have a wank. Well, this guy could really be that lighter drug to make you wanna try the harder, more dangerous ones... as say DJ Shadow was to drum'n'bass. Which, incidentally or not, brings me to Anthony Braxton. Any takers?

Perhaps my favourite of the trilogy. The first being the second and the third... the third. One luck that it's not a dodecaoctalogy, the ranking would be pretty hard to follow:) And what 'bout you Mr. Doru649?
oh, i've yet to give the 3rd a proper listen.. seems more difficult than others.. lots of processing. still pretty nice methinks.
watch out for the cosi/orsi full-length out next year!
