Unless you're going gaga over noisy prog-rock and related, I wouldn't recommend all that this band has carried out so far; perhaps there's something here a bit more structured, less bombastic, some of us are feeling more drawn to. Guapo is a UK instrumental duo playing in the Magma vein, yet for a short while on Twisted Stems they pulled back on the tempo, leaving only the intensity unchanged. Slow-mo piano-led instrumentals call for the obligatory Necks/Bohren name-dropping, which you don't need anyway to enjoy. "A delightfully chilled-out, downtempo slice of jazz-influenced guitar", dedicated to Athanasius Kircher, often cited as the last man who knew everything (info here). One for all late night groovers...

if we're talking "twisted stems", then it most definitely shouldn't. :)
