Jon Mueller
Metals
Table of the Elements 2007
01. Trace Essential
02. Homeostatic
03. Mineral Balance
Dedicated to all the freaks out there - the bewilderingly imbecile, hysteric, stiff and narrow minded - and to all spineless highlights, old an new, whether or not blogosphere related. May you bleed to this.
For the rest of you, don't freak out, we'll get back to art soon. Fuck's sake, I can't even find a .jpeg of the cover art today... But the album is too killer to need one, at least. One to literally get in touch with your inner metal, "as there is metal inside each of our bodies". Guess you're never too young or too old to find it, and be changed. The real force emanates from Mueller's drum kit: no theatrical scenes here; just sheer exhilaration - the fundamental power of loud, organized, precise rhythms.
It's fantastic.
[Later edit: thanks Mark for the artwork.]
