So we're in 2007, doesn't matter where, and this here is our Blues. Why "Blues"? Because it gives itself time, leaving each note played to resound, to release some Space. What do we have then? Space, Blues, Distress and an Electronic Era which refuses to end, mainly because of Acoustics. "Strings, brass, keyboards and piano". All for some Blues? Yes. Blues is for all who see a mobile in Slowness. Not languidness, no no, but Slowness: something that trails. Slowness and Repetition, interwoven, taking Space. They're not Circles, nor buckled on each other, inextricable, but Spirals. Spirals carrying an expansion which leaves intact what it leaves behind, re-cycling on and on. Slowness is what can be exceeded - like Tempo. Like Tempo, Slowness is exceeded, because of allowing Intensity - allowing it to make Feel/Hear. It's the virtue of Slowness to make have a presentiment of, to Hear: to Listen to this otherness of the Tempo which is Acceleration, increase in Power, rolling of the notes around themselves, Explosion and, afterwards, after detonation, deflagration: Dilation of the music, as out of any Temporality. What we're left with: Returns or Feedbacks, sounds expanding, and Noise.
