"Synchromy" features five wonky slices of sumptuous space age bachelor pad lounge loveliness that in many ways appears to have come from the same melodic map reference and birthing pool as Zombi with the keynote constituents of Carpenter and Goblin replaced on this occasion by Wendy and Bonnie, White Noise and Stereolab... So wonderful a release you'll probably have to brandish a big stick with which to beat your hi-fi with if only to stop it hogging it as its own. Near perfect stuff.

You'll probably find less ravey reviews out there, as opinions on this seem drastically divided. I for one have never heard about the Feathers before, nor feel like doing any pompous introduction. It's fairly pleasant background music without any serious danger or threat; working well as an EP, as to leave an impression, where a longer format may be little more difficult. Having got carried away doing stuff around my place, with Synchromy blasting, I found it a most comfy trip. Very nice and peaceful. Think spacey synth-rock with a twist, and rich instrumentation.
